Provide accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department.
Employ a variety of bookkeeping methods; post, balance, and maintain manual and computerized accounts.
Assists in the preparation of accounting records, summaries, report creation and generation as needed.
Reconciles and records receipts, incoming cash, fees presented for payment and other fiscal transactions. Prepares and files purchase orders.
Prepares and reconciles various financial reports (i.e weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually)
Assists Accounting Manager in customer invoicing process : adds new customers into accounting software, formats invoices, calculates finance charges, creates statements and handles the distribution of the invoices and statements
Assists Accounting Manager with semi monthly timesheet audits for payroll processing.
Researches discrepancies in accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger accounts; interfaces with vendors, customers and other appropriate staff to reconcile.
Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, scanning, and mailing.
Assists with special accounting projects as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Willing and able to work part-time with a desire to eventually become full-time in the future

Fia Diploma / Degree in Accountancy / Banking & Finance or their equivalent
At least one year of professional accounting experience
