Population Media Center (PMC) is a nonprofit, international organization, which strives to improve the health and well-being of people around the world using entertainment-education strategies.
Founded in 1998, PMC has 20 years of field experience in social behaviour change communication, impacting more than 50 countries around the world.
PMC seeks applications to fill the position of Administrative Assistant (AA).
Reporting to the Finance and Admin Manager, the AA will be responsible for providing administrative duties to the PMC Zambia office.
The AA will support the Finance and Admin Manager to maintain an efficient and professional office
Facilitate the procurement of goods and services
Supervise the Cleaner and Driver
Proactively take initiative to solve problems at the office
Maintain and update asset records and tagging
Provide support in logistical matters; car hires, hotel bookings, airport pick-ups, preparations for trainings and conferences etc.
Orderly maintenance of filing system
Perform secretarial duties including taking meeting minutes and editing.
Assume control of office consumables and ensure timely replenishments.
The AA will perform other duties as and when required by the Finance and Admin Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
Full grade 12 certificates
Diploma / Degree in Business administration
3 Years minimum in a similar position
Must be computer literate; Word and Excel
Demonstrated experience with USAID-funded program management, policies, regulations and procedures preferred
